The new Women's Exotics C721 Fairway metal is designed to have a perfected CG aka (Center of Gravity) location and extreme M.O.I. aka (Moment of Inertia) properties making this Tour Edge’s most advanced fairway wood ever made. The new Diamond Face 2.0™ and the Ridgeback™ support system are 2 key factors in this advancement.
Ridgeback Technology
Ridgeback Tech is a power generator. The Ridgeback spine within the Carbon Fiber crown acts as a brace to create more power on center hit and allows for mroe face flex in the toe and heel, meaning off-center hits achieve greater ball speed and power. The extra rigidity created by the brace produces a stronger feel at impact and results in a brighter and crisper feel at impact.
Carbon Wings
Tour Edge engineers designed Ridgeback to replace extra steel from the sole and crown with wrap-around Carbon Wings. The use of Carbon Wings saves weight and leads to an optimal low-rearward Center of Gravity aka (CG) position that creates an extremely high Moment of Inertia aka (M.O.I.) to increase stability at impact.
Diamond Face 2.0 Technology
61 different diamond shapes of variable face thickness behind the club face act as mini-trampolines to create faster ball speeds and create more forgiveness on the outer areas of the face.
Adjustable Rear Backweight
A 10-gram adjustable back weight is at the extreme rear of the clubhead to help position the perfected CG and to optimize the M.O.I. properties of the C721 clubhead.
Sound Diffusion Panels
Five different Sound Diffusion Panels placed inside the club head greatly improves the acoustic properties.
SpeedTested Shafts
Every shaft in the Women's Exotics C721 Series has been SpeedTested to find the optimal custom shaft pairing for each flex, determined by extensive robotic testing and validated by player testing.
